This wine is produced in a limited quantity from an accurate selection of grapes of the Valpolicella area, old vineyards on high hills, left to dry in small crates , the vinification is according to the old tradition. The taste is typically raisin y with hints of plum,and ripe maraschino cherry. The color is ruby red. The structure is perfect, it is full bodied, well balanced and pleasant.The tannins are soft and not aggressive, with a long lasting finish.
Best served with grilled and roasted meats. Can also be enjoyed at the end of the meal. Open the bottle one hour before serving at room temperature 16/18°C.
The long aging gives to this noble wine a dry and slightly bitter and pleasant taste, as well as the characteristic fragrance of dark and red fruits which has distinguished it among the most prized red wines in the world
