Burgundy, France.....
The Company Prestige des Grand Vins de France was set up by Alain Corcia in 1983. Today the company still is a family business. The company is not blending wines of different origins. Wines are bottled directly at the estates or under control of the firm in a modern bottling unit if the grower is not well equipped to bottle himself. As the negociant firm is situated in Bourgogne it's not surprising that the main part of the wines are from this appellations.
Good wines at a good price.
This Burgundy is aged one year in oak casks and offers a lightly spicy, focused fruit; lovely and balanced.
