Hudson Valley, New York.....
Born and bred in the Hudson Valley, Burgundian nose, earthy with a dry palate, good acidity, touch of cherry fruit with a little pepper, nicely aromatic and balanced, pretty impressive considering the weather conditions in this part of the state.
just FYI,
New York is the nation's third largest producer of wine with over a 1000 vineyards that cover about 32000 acres and produce a average annual grape crop of 175000 tons, about 385 million pounds. how about that?.
