Quite mineral, the palate is very elegant and suave, with a light smoky note, some quince and ripe pear flavors; bracing acidity insure freshness and balance for this easy-sipping, beautiful wine; not quite off-dry as the name implies, but rather bold and textured with a lingering fruity feel (similar to a Spatlese); for poultry, fatty fish, and also a great cocktail wine.
