Rias Baixas, Spain.....
Cold-fermented white made from Albariño, Spain's most aristocratic grape. Varied aromatic intensity with a notable presence of apple and pear with a touch of ginger as well as some exotic fruits; sappy palate but remaining fresh, nicely textured, layered with a great long finish. The producer, Maior de Mendoza, is among the most acclaimed producers in Rias Baixas.
