The vines are planted in the dry pond of Marseillette and on the slopes of Saint-Frichoux, placed on very clayey soils resting on a layer of salt at depth. We eliminate excess salinity by a very special method that allows plots to be flooded in winter. It also has the advantage of protecting against frost. These soils, which are not sensitive to phylloxera, also allow frank foot plantings. The Area of 100 ha enjoys a Mediterranean climate but its topography promotes large variations between daytime and night temperatures.
Tasting Notes: On the nose very vivid red berries. On the palate fresh, refined and aromatic.
Pairings: Barbecues, steak tartare, grilled fish or spicy dishes.
